Company History
Healthy Paws is located in Norfolk, NE and was established in October of 2006 by Jessica Goeden. After working in Veterinary clinics as a veterinary technician she wanted a change of pace. So she researched several franchise ideas and decided to open her own store.
In the beginning Healthy Paws was just pet supply and cat boarding. As time went on she realized that there was a demand for dog and cat grooming. So Bridget Lambrecht left Companion Animal vet clinic where she worked as a veterinary technician and joined Jessica at Healthy Paws to be a groomer.
At first we started off with just a handful of grooming clients, now we have over a thousand, plus our customers who purchase food and supply regularly. We all have pets, so we know what having a pet means to a family. We treat every four legged friend who walks into our store like one of our own. We have moved from a cozy store on Benjamin to a spacious space on the corner of 3rd street and Norfolk Ave.

I took her several times for baths just to get her used to them, usually getting drenched but a bonding experience. I brush her teeth, groom her, bathe her, but am too intimidated to cut her nails. She doesn't like it but tolerates it. Today she refused to allow it..She didn't like the other staff messing with her paws.
